Travel insurance should ideally cover the following areas:
Medical expenses and emergency care: This includes coverage for illnesses, injuries, and medical treatment while traveling. Policies should also include emergency evacuation and repatriation, which can be crucial in remote areas of Tanzania.
Trip cancellation or interruption: Travel insurance can reimburse you for non-refundable costs if your trip is canceled or cut short due to unforeseen events, such as illness, family emergencies, or natural disasters.
Loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings: Safaris and adventure travel often involve carrying essential gear and valuables. Insurance helps protect your belongings, including luggage, cameras, and electronic devices.

Kilitop Adventure does not provide travel insurance and cannot be held liable for any costs, claims, or losses that should have been covered by insurance.
We also recommend that clients:

Verify that the insurance policy covers medical evacuation from remote safari areas, which can be essential if specialized care is required.
