Itinerary
6 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari
Day 1: JRO Airport → Arusha Town
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be collected by your private guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha, a journey of approximately 45 minutes depending on traffic. Upon arrival, you can relax and explore the hotel grounds, enjoy a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, or partake in any of the optional activities offered at the lodge. Overnight is spent at Mount Meru Hotel or a similar property, allowing you to unwind before the adventure begins.

Day 2: Arusha Town → Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, your safari begins with a brief stop in Arusha town for any last-minute shopping before heading toward Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its enormous elephant herds and striking baobab trees and forms the center of the annual migratory cycle of up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest, and 30,000 zebras. Upon arrival, enjoy a private afternoon game drive, spotting a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat. Your day concludes at Tarangire Kuro Treetops Lodge or a similar property, where you can relax in your comfortable accommodation surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park → Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, depart toward the Rift Valley, passing through Mto Wa Mbu and the cooler highlands of Karatu. Enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a short stop at a viewpoint overlooking the crater. Continuing around the rim, you will descend the other side, traveling past traditional Maasai villages en route to the Serengeti National Park. At the Naabi Hill entrance, take a moment to admire spectacular views across the savannah plains before proceeding to the Seronera area in central Serengeti. The park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. Overnight is at Ole Serai Luxury Camp or a similar property.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend the day immersed in the vast landscapes of the Serengeti National Park, renowned for its annual wildebeest migration and large predator populations. Depending on the season, you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras moving across the plains in search of greener pastures. Wildlife sightings may include lions, leopards, zebras, Thompson’s gazelle, impalas, Grant’s gazelle, and buffalo. Explore the open grasslands, isolated granite kopjes, and scattered acacia woodlands during morning and afternoon game drives. Return to Ole Serai Luxury Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park → Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest unbroken caldera. Upon arrival, complete the registration process before descending to the crater floor for an unforgettable day of game viewing. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the hippo pool and continue exploring the diverse wildlife and breathtaking scenery. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater rim and spend the night at Ngorongoro Oldeani Mountain Lodge or a similar property, enjoying panoramic views and relaxing in comfort.

Day 6: Karatu → Arusha Town → JRO Airport
After breakfast, stop in Mto Wa Mbu for some last-minute photographs and souvenir shopping, capturing the vibrant colors of this lively town. Continue your journey back to Arusha, where you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to connect with your onward international flight. This concludes your 6-day luxury safari through Tanzania, leaving you with unforgettable memories of wildlife, landscapes, and African adventure.
